Rashkis Students Dance in the Big Apple
July 2006
Through North Carolina Arts in Action, Miles Addison, Hannah Davis, Emily Kupec and Khalid Williams attended the National Dance Institute's Irene Diamond Summer Institute for the entire month of July in New York City. They participated in a full schedule of classes five days a week, six-hours a day which included ballet, jazz, tap, ethnic dance, music (voice and orchestra) and theatre and met with special guests at the Trisha Brown Dance Studios. When not dancing in class, they were dancing in the streets of New York exploring all the wonders of this great city.
