The Roots of Jazz: Rashkis Elementary 5th Grade with the Rhythm Kings and Other Special Guests

In January, the Rashkis Elementary 5th Grade embarked on a month-long residency program with Kay Gayner, National Dance Institute Master Teaching Artist. It was amazing journey as we discovered the Roots of Jazz from Talking Drums to Ragtime and even a little Spanish seasoning. Our 5th graders got the jazz in the air in January!
