After a month-long residency with National Dance Institute’s Bianca Johnson and other NC AIA teaching staff, the entire fourth grade at Frank Porter Graham Elementary (FPG) presented A Celebration of Africa. FPG’s first Arts in Action program brought six musical numbers to life, using African and modern dance techniques to turn themselves into the animals, tribes and terrain of the continent.
