Founded in 2005, North Carolina Arts in Action (NC AIA) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children through participation in the arts. As an affiliate of the National Dance Institute (NDI), NC AIA uses the award-winning teaching methodologies developed by NDI founder Jacques d’Amboise to inspire children to develop discipline, self-confidence and a sense of achievement, reaching a high standard of excellence and love of the performing arts.
Using dance, Arts in Action inspires our children to express their feelings, gain self-awareness and confidence, and motivate them toward excellence to achieve their hopes and dreams.
