TRAINING FOR OUR TEACHERS
North Carolina Arts in Action seeks teaching artist candidates with a professional performance background, a commitment to arts education, a respect for children and the capacity for leadership in a teaching role. Under the training of our Artistic Director and/or a Master Teaching Artist an apprenticeship is developed within our in-school program. Additional training includes Teacher Training Workshops offered at the National Dance Institute (NDI) of New York and other affiliate programs.

INFORMATION FOR SCHOOLS
North Carolina Arts in Action is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing in-school and after-school dance programs to elementary schools in Orange, Durham and Wake counties in North Carolina. Through fiscal partnerships with individual schools, along with private and public funds, we inspire children through the arts.
